Come join us on the beautiful island of Maui for a Tai' Chi Gung ~ Circle of Life ~ Nature Immersion Retreat.
We will be learning the original standing exercises, breathing meditations and Tai' Chi Gung form that were created by Lao Tzu over 3300 years ago from the lamasery in Tibet.

Every day we will also be spending time a lot of time in nature,
harmonizing with the 5 elements; earth, water, air, fire and ether ~
walking in the forest, swimming in the ocean, and in the evenings meditating with fire.
Stay as guests in our home that is about 1400 elevation, in Haiku.

Thursday Arrival ~ anytime after3pm and up to 5pm ~ If you are not already on Maui, we can pick you up from the airport that is 20 minutes away from our home. Evening introduction begin at 6pm.
Monday Departure ~ after breakfast ~ we can do an airport drop off unless you are staying longer on Maui.

DAILY SCHEDULE
Thursday Evening ~
6pm Meet and Greet and Introduction to Circle of Life. (Master Lama Rasaji, I thought it would be really wonderful to provide everyone with the New everything to get started kit from COL! And provide a couple writing journals as well to start their new journey in life - OR just mala beads and books, just depends on available funds and wanting to keep cost of retreat very very affordable... it also might be better to give the book and video on the final evening)
9pm Quiet time begins and ends at 7am in the morning
Friday ~ Saturday ~ Sunday
Early morning Tea, Coffee available to make in your rooms.
7am Introduction to the Tai'Chi Gung Exercises ~ warm ups and 4 standing
8am break
8:30 Light Breakfast~ smoothies~ examples~
1. organic blueberries, protein powder, super greens blended in home-made macadamia nut milk
2. home grown banana, mango (if in season), seasonal fruit, yogurt, protein powder, super greens blended in home-made macadamia nut milk
3. If people need a 'keto' breakfast we can offer ~ scrambled eggs with steamed greens
9:30~11:30 Upcountry Forest Walk ~ Tai'Chi Gung walking/Tree meditating/Circle of Life Class Chapter (in the forest there's a clearing within the pines to hold class)
12:30~1:30 Leela's Delight ~ Soup & Salad ~ everything organic and locally grown (I don't have the menu totally figured out yet, I have a sample menu below, but I've played chef before, plus I have a way of preparing foods for a variety of diets and can make it work for most everybody ;) what I think we want to do is eat simple nourishing real food without indulging ;) We can always offer a more cleansing retreat another time...
1:30-~2:00 Rest a bit, Prepare and Depart for Afternoon Island Exploration & Water Immersion*
We will review the 4 standing exercises and introduce the intermediate exercises at the beach
FRI~ Ocean Swim and Tai' Chi Gung, as a group we can decide to have dinner delivered to the beach or enjoy it in town
SAT~ if it's the whale season (nov-april) ~ Catamaran Whale Watch, (may-oct) ~ snorkle adventure
local dinner on board or in town.
SUN~ South-Side Swim and Tai' Chi Gung, dinner ~ local tacos in town
6:00 Circle of Life Class Chapter completion at home
7:00 FIRE and end with meditation techniques
9:00 Quiet time
*Depending on weather, morning and afternoon times out in nature may vary. For example, forest walk and beach times may switch. Good news is, in Maui we have 9 different climate zones and unless we are experiencing 'island-wide' weather, one can almost always find a non-rainy part of the island ;) Every day we aim to have water immersion & fire cleansing time in nature.
